From January to August, total retail sales of social consumer goods in the province amounted to 3129.94 billion yuan, an increase of 1.0% over the previous year. In August, retail sales of communication equipment, cultural office supplies, and cosmetics products above the limit increased by 44.7%, 41.8%, and 7.9%, respectively; among them, retail sales of computers, their ancillary products, and smartphones increased by 78.2% and 52.2% respectively.
