According to the news, recently, according to Wenyuanzhi's official WeChat account, the company and AvoMo, an autonomous driving business unit under the international travel service giant Uber and Moove Cars Group, jointly announced that with the support of the Madrid government, the three parties have officially obtained Spain's first L4 class autonomous passenger vehicle operating license issued by the Spanish General Transport Authority (DGT) in accordance with the ES-AV framework, and approved for vehicle deployment on public roads. After completing all preparations and meeting relevant operational and regulatory requirements, Wenyuan Zhixing, Uber and AVOMO are expected to launch the RoboTaxi commercial operation service to the public within 2026.

It is worth mentioning that this is also the first national autonomous driving license obtained by Wenyuan Zhixing Robotaxi GXR in the European Union, establishing a regulatory reference for promoting vehicle certification and commercialization in more European markets in the future. So far, Wenyuan Zhixing has become the only technology company in the world with autonomous driving licenses in nine countries, including China, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, France, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and the United States.
