Moody's Confirms Greek Lender Eurobank's Ratings; Outlooks Revised

12:20 PM EDT, 09/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Moody's affirmed Eurobank's (EUROB.AT) long-term deposit and senior unsecured ratings at Baa1, according to a Monday note. The affirmation reflects Moody's unchanged assumptions of "very low" loss given failure and low probability of government support, among others. Meanwhile, the rating agency revised the outlook on the Greek lender's long-term deposit ratings to positive from stable, in line with the positive outlook on the Greek government. It also changed the outlook on Eurobank's senior unsecured debt rating to stable from negative.
