Recently, Unit 2 of the Jiangsu Jintan Yancue Compressed Air Energy Storage and Power Generation Project, which China Power Construction participated in, was completed and launched. The project is located in Jintan District, Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is currently the Yancun compressed air energy storage power plant with the largest stand-alone power, the largest total capacity and the highest comprehensive efficiency in the world. The project plans to build two 350 MW non-recombustible compressed air energy storage units. The energy storage is 8 hours, the power generation is 4 hours, the energy conversion efficiency is over 70%, and 2.8 million kilowatts of electricity can be stored on a single charge. After completion and production, the core equipment was 100% localized.
