In the third quarter, Morgan Stanley once again restricted the redemption of its nearly $7 billion private equity fund. Investors applied for redemption more than double the amount the fund was willing to repurchase. The North Haven Private Income Fund set a redemption limit of 5%, while investors applied to redeem 11.4% of the share, which is basically the same as in the previous three months. The total number of repurchases of about US$479 million was completed in the three quarters up to September, and nearly two-thirds of the applications came from restricted investors in the previous two rounds.
