Wapsri Metaverse (08093) issued a profit warning that annual shareholders' losses are estimated to be around HK$29 million to HK$31 million

According to the Zhitong Finance App, Wapsri Metaverse (08093) announced that the Group expects to obtain losses attributable to company holders of about HK$29 million to HK$31 million in the year ending June 30, 2026, while losses due to holders of corporate equity interests are about HK$20 million for the year ended June 30, 2025.

Losses attributable to company holders in fiscal year 2026 are expected to increase compared to losses attributable to company holders in fiscal year 2025, mainly due to the Group's business expansion during the 2026 fiscal year, which led to a significant increase in the number of employees, leading to an increase in sales and administrative expenses.
