Paraguay Responds to Atome's Dispute Notice

06:54 AM EDT, 09/18/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Paraguay is analyzing the dispute claim filed by Atome (ATOM.L) relating to its $665 million low-carbon green fertilizer Villeta project in the country, the low-carbon fertilizer developer said in a Friday filing. Paraguay's Attorney General's Office said the notice does not constitute a lawsuit or arbitration, but communicates the existence of a dispute and raises the possibility of initiating legal action in the future, while providing a three-month period to explore an amicable solution. "The government maintains its openness to dialogue but will firmly defend the interests of the Paraguayan State and the national interest," the Attorney General's Office said.
