The General Office of the Zhejiang Provincial Government recently issued the “Guiding Opinions on Promoting High-Quality Development of the Biomedical Industry”, which lays out the work for the next five years and proposes 22 measures in 7 areas. Among them, it is proposed that by 2030, the R&D expenses of biomedical enterprises above the scale of the province will account for about 7% of revenue, achieve important breakthroughs in key common technologies and cutting-edge leading fields, and the biomedical industry cluster's revenue will exceed 500 billion yuan.
