Silver Ridge independent director Ong Chin Yee passes away

KUALA LUMPUR: Silver Ridge Holdings Bhd announced the passing of its independent non-executive director Dr Ong Chin Yee on Sept 17. He was 44.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing, the group said Ong was a geotechnical specialist with more than 10 years of experience in the design and construction of building foundations.

"In the interim, the Board will assume Ong roles and responsibilities until a suitable permanent candidate is identified to take over the role. A further announcement will be made once the process has been completed," Silver Ridge said.
