At the 2026 Science and Technology Innovators Conference held today, referring to the implementation of robots in the logistics scene, Shao Jianfei, general manager of Starlight Era Government and Enterprise, said that currently customers are mainly introducing robots due to three considerations: difficulties in recruitment and employment, increasing management costs year by year, and improving the level of automation and online management capabilities after applying robots. Shao Jianfei admits that the robot's actual ability has not yet reached the level of skilled workers. “Of course, it is very close, and we also firmly believe that it can reach or even surpass the human level in a very short period of time.” He said that when evaluating customers, they will look at operational efficiency, procurement costs, and whether large-scale deployment is possible, but “it is obviously unrealistic to go up to 300 at once.” At the same time, he said that some customers are willing to give time for the product at 60-70 minutes, but there is still a gap between building an operation center with several hundred people and deploying it.
