German Annual Producer Prices Up 4.6% in August

02:10 AM EDT, 09/18/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The producer prices of industrial products in Germany rose 4.6% year over year in August, following a 3% increase in July, the country's Federal Statistical Office said Friday. Analysts expected a 4.1% growth for the month. On a monthly basis, producer prices were 1.1% higher, against the expected 0.6% gain.
