Saudi Arabia's General Directorate of Civil Protection issued a statement on the 17th saying that a drone launched by the Houthis in Yemen was intercepted and destroyed in the western Saudi city of Taif on the same day. The resulting debris fell, causing 1 death, 2 injuries, and damage to several buildings and vehicles. The statement said that the dead were Yemeni nationals, and the two wounded were Saudi and Pakistani nationals respectively. Among them, the Pakistani wounded were in serious condition.
