Zhitong Finance App News, Yingtang Intelligent Control (300131.SZ) announced that in order to speed up the layout of the company's products in the automotive display field and accelerate the marketization process of automotive display chip products, the company plans to sign a cooperation agreement with Synopsys to obtain licenses for several new automotive DDIC and automotive TDDI series products, including the right to manufacture and sell this series of products and derivative products, and the company has the right to use Synopsys's supply chain partners for this series of products. The scope of the license granted includes the company and some of its subsidiaries within the scope of the consolidated list. The relevant products authorized this time are mature products, and the peak sales period for existing stock projects is about 3-4 years.

This license is an exclusive global license. The license period is 15 years, and the license fee is US$20 million. After the product is sold, the company is required to pay a commission fee to the licensor on a quarterly basis based on a certain percentage of net sales.

The core purpose of this cooperation is as follows: on the one hand, entering the supply chain of leading global car companies through large-scale similar businesses, it is expected to accumulate customer resources and project history for its own display driver chip business; on the other hand, if it can quickly scale up the scale, the company can increase its bargaining power for fabs, packaging and testing plants, and third-party IP suppliers, and reduce the unit cost of its own products. In addition, the company can also undertake business cash flow, customer and supply chain resources to feed back self-developed products, and accelerate the expansion and team capacity building of its own display chip business.
