On September 17, the 25th meeting of the Ministers of Economy and Trade of the member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization was held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. Vice Minister of Commerce and Deputy Representative for International Trade Negotiations Ling Ji attended. The conference focused on implementing the important agreements of the SCO Bishkek summit, planning the next stage of regional economic cooperation arrangements, and preparing for the SCO member councils of heads of government meetings to be held during the year. Ling Ji said that China is ready to work with all parties to optimize and expand trade among member countries, continuously deepen production and supply chain cooperation, continue to improve infrastructure “hard connectivity” and “soft connectivity” rules and standards, further enhance the level of trade and investment liberalization and facilitation, and continue to make new contributions to building a common destiny of the SCO. During the meeting, the parties passed the “Joint Declaration of the Ministers of Economy and Trade of the SCO Member States”, approved the “Regulations of the SCO Member States' Task Force on Developing the Creative Economy”, and signed the minutes of the meeting.
