From September 16 to 17, Nie Wenhui, vice president of the China Council for the Promotion of Trade, visited Mongolia to attend the 19th China-Russia-Mongolia Business Forum and deliver a speech. The theme of the forum was “The Role and Cooperation of Chambers of Commerce in the New Global Economic Situation”. It was hosted by the Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and attracted more than 300 political and business representatives from the three countries. At the forum, the three parties signed a joint declaration. During the visit, Nie Wenhui met with Mongolian Deputy Prime Minister Nomtai Bayar, held talks with Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Ba Lagwazab and Russian Omsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Fedulova, etc., to promote the outline of the “15th Five-Year Plan” and China's economic situation, and exchange views on topics such as strengthening institutionalized ties and accurately serving enterprises. During this period, we also met with our embassy in Mongolia to discuss and exchange views with Chinese-funded enterprises in Mongolia, the heads of the Trade Promotion Council of some League cities in Inner Mongolia, and representatives of domestic participating companies, and to investigate related enterprises.
