Amundi Buys 9.9% Stake in Alternative Asset Manager ICG for EUR620 Million

02:49 AM EDT, 09/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- French asset manager Amundi (AMUN.PA) acquired a 9.9% stake in London-listed alternative asset manager ICG (ICG.L) for 620 million euros, according to a Thursday release. The stake acquisition was part of a 10-year collaboration announced by the companies in November 2025. Under the partnership, Amundi became the exclusive global distributor for ICG's evergreen and certain other products in the wealth channel, while ICG exclusively provides those products to Amundi's distribution business. The partners are also jointly developing products for wealth investors, with the initial products focused on private equity secondaries, to be launched in the coming weeks.
