In January-August, key statistics showed that steel companies produced 536 million tons of crude steel, with a cumulative year-on-year decrease of 3.5%; cumulative daily crude steel production of 2.20.76 million tons; cumulative production of pig iron, down 2.4% year-on-year; cumulative daily production of pig iron of 2.040,000 tons; cumulative production of 539 million tons of steel, a cumulative year-on-year decrease of 4.2%; and a cumulative daily production of steel of 2,2192,000 tons.
