India's market regulators will investigate the concerns raised by brokerage firms. A new fee policy for online transactions on India's mainstream state-owned digital payment networks may raise brokers' operating costs and reduce profit margins. Starting October 15, merchants are required to pay a maximum processing fee of 0.4% when completing a single transaction of 2000 rupees or more through the unified payment interface; for a single transfer of 75,000 rupees or more, the maximum processing fee is 300 rupees.
