MIAMI (AP) — MIAMI (AP) — Lennar Corp. (LEN) on Wednesday reported fiscal third-quarter earnings of $283.9 million.

The Miami-based company said it had profit of $1.19 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were $1.23 per share.

The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of six analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.29 per share.

The homebuilder posted revenue of $8.05 billion in the period, which also did not meet Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $8.33 billion.
