Elephant Holding Group (08635): Elephant Securities obtained licenses for Type 1, Class 4 and Type 9 regulated activities (including conditions relating to virtual assets)

According to Zhitong Finance App, Elephant Holding Group (08635) announced that on September 14, 2026, Elephant Securities International Limited, an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has been granted a license by the Securities and Futures Commission under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571) of the Hong Kong Legislation to carry out Type 1 (securities trading), Class 4 (providing advice on securities) and Type 9 (providing asset management) regulated activities. Such licences include certain licensing conditions relating to virtual assets imposed by the Securities Regulatory Commission.

These licences authorize Elephant Securities to engage in the above regulated activities in Hong Kong. Elephant Securities will comply with all applicable regulatory requirements and will commence business operations after meeting all applicable regulatory and operating requirements.

The board of directors believes that the establishment and development of Elephant Securities and the acquisition of such licenses represent the continuation and further development of the Group's existing finance-related business.
