At the 2026 Smart Economy Forum held on September 16, Baidu's smart cloud industry first proposed the concept of an industrial intelligent operating system, organizing general intelligence, professional intelligence, and customized intelligence into a system that can collaborate, close the loop, and be responsible for results. Shen Dio, executive vice president of Baidu Group and president of Baidu Smart Cloud Business Group, said that enterprise tasks are divided into three categories. 20% of daily operations, 30% of areas of expertise, and 50% of the core tasks that determine operation will all be internalized by corresponding intelligence in the future, but they cannot be turned into a new chimney for the enterprise. The system undertakes tasks upward, determines what kind of agents participate, connects enterprise knowledge, data, and processes in the middle, and schedules computing power and security resources on the cloud downwards. The experience accumulated in the task flows back into the system, making it an iterable management capability.
