A Foreign Ministry spokesman announced that Ding Xuexiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, will attend and deliver a speech at the opening ceremony of the 23rd China-ASEAN Expo and the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit to be held in Nanning, Guangxi on September 17. Myanmar Vice President Niusau, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and Executive Vice Prime Minister Fan Jiasu, member of the Political Bureau of the Lao Party Central Committee, Executive Vice Prime Minister of the Government Sharon Sai, and other foreign leaders and senior officials, as well as ASEAN Secretary General Gao Jinhong, will attend the opening ceremony.
