The 3rd China-Latin America Human Rights Roundtable on the theme of “Multilateralism and Human Rights” was held on the 15th in Lima, the capital of Peru. Nearly 200 senior officials, former politicians, experts and scholars from China and 23 Latin American and Caribbean countries, and representatives of relevant social organizations, media, and think tanks exchanged views on topics such as peaceful development and human rights governance, practical cooperation and human rights development between China and Latin America, and civilized human rights exchanges and mutual appreciation between China and Latin America.
