A Transformative Sensory Experience

In a comparison study with jojoba oil and 350 cSt dimethicone, SustOleo™ Embrace spread far more readily than dimethicone and approached the spreading behavior of jojoba oil, with higher substantivity and no perceived tackiness or unwanted residue. The result is a set of textures that are uncommon among silicone-free, naturally derived sensory enhancers.

Skin Refinement

In an in-house forearm skin study, 0.5 g of a finished formula containing 7.5% SustOleo™ Embrace improved scaliness by 33% and smoothness by 30%. In a separate visual assessment with formulations containing 5% SustOleo™ Embrace, all subjects reported a visible improvement in skin smoothness and elasticity.

Fragrance Longevity

SustOleo™ Embrace holds fragrance in antiperspirant and deodorant formulations while maintaining the fragrance profile. In a 24-hour odor potency test, it extended fragrance release on skin for up to 20 hours. In a 48-hour test at 50°C, SustOleo™ Embrace reduced d-Limonene loss to 0.79%, compared with 11.01% for the no-film-former control, supporting fragrance longevity in formulations on shelf.
