Gjensidige Forsikring Issues NOK1 Billion Tier 2 Capital Bonds

10:36 AM EDT, 09/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Gjensidige Forsikring (GJF.OL) completed a 1 billion-Norwegian-krone subordinated tier 2 capital bond issue on Tuesday, with settlement scheduled for Sept. 22. The bonds have a tenor of 30 years and carry a floating-rate coupon of three-month Norwegian Interbank Offered Rate plus 1.10% per year, with a first call option after 5.5 years. The Norwegian insurer intends to list the bonds on Euronext Oslo Børs. Danske Bank and DNB Carnegie were tapped as joint lead managers for the transaction.
