BitMetaverse (08645) ProfitAlert expects annual shareholders' losses to increase to no more than HK$22 million

According to the Zhitong Finance App, Bitcoin Universe (08645) announced that the Group expects to increase the loss due to equity holders of the company to no more than HK$22 million for the year ending June 30, 2026, while the net loss due to corporate equity holders for the year ended June 30, 2025 is approximately HK$11.5 million.

According to the Board of Directors, the expected increase in net loss for the year is mainly due to (i) the confirmed share of the associated company's performance in the current year as a loss of approximately HK$3.7 million (previous year: profit of approximately HK$4.1 million); (ii) one-time income from the sale of Rice Bug Technology Information (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. and its subsidiaries, which was not confirmed in previous years, about HK$5.5 million.
