On the afternoon of September 15, Director Huang Guo of the National Drug Administration met with visiting Trevor Mondale, President of Global Health of the US Gates Foundation, and his entourage in Beijing. Huang Guo explained recent progress in China's drug supervision work, and said that in conjunction with the implementation of the national “15th Five-Year Plan”, the State Drug Administration is further deepening regulatory reform, optimizing the review and approval of innovative drugs and clinically urgently needed drugs, promoting scientific, rule-of-law, internationalization and modernization of drug supervision, and promoting pharmaceutical innovation, drug safety, and high-quality development.
