The 10kV/100kA/100ns high repetition frequency fusion basic module device jointly developed by Liu Pan's team of China's Tianfu Innovative Energy Research Institute and Sichuan Gesla Technology Co., Ltd. completed system tests, and the cumulative stable operation exceeded 1 million times at 0.1 Hz repetition rate. The device uses an all-solid-state switch and modular design, and introduces AI multiphysics coupling simulation technology to achieve device design and optimization under high repetitive frequency operating conditions. The device has characteristics such as high energy density, high power density and long life, and can provide basic module support for fusion energy routes such as high-current driven fusion and laser-driven inertial constrained fusion, and lay the foundation for the engineering application of high repetitive frequency pulse power technology in fusion devices.
