The 5th Beidou International Summit on Large-scale Applications opened in Zhuzhou, Hunan on the 15th. Before the opening ceremony, Zhang Guoqing met with Prime Minister Rajonarison of Madagascar attending the summit and stated that China is willing to work with Malaysia to implement the important consensus between the heads of state of the two countries and the outcomes of the Beijing summit of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum, and continue to deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Malaysia. Rajonarison reiterated that Malaysia strictly abides by the one-China principle and is willing to deepen practical cooperation with China in various fields. The theme of this summit was “Together with the World: Sharing the Beidou — Empowering the World”. About 900 people, including domestic and foreign experts, scholars, business leaders, government officials, and representatives of international organizations, attended the opening ceremony.
