GSK to Acquire Chimagen Biosciences' T-Cell Engager Program for Up to $750 Million

02:23 AM EDT, 09/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- GSK (GSK.L) said Tuesday it agreed to purchase a potential best-in-class trispecific T cell-engager from Chinese biotech Chimagen Biosciences for up to $750 million. Under the terms of the agreement, the British drugmaker will secure full global rights to the TCE program for an upfront fee, with Chimagen also eligible to receive success-based development and commercial milestone payments. GSK plans to begin early-stage trials to evaluate the asset as a potential treatment for multiple myeloma in 2027.
