The US National Transportation Safety Board said on September 14 that after a major air crash near Washington in January 2025, the Commission made 33 recommendations, and the FAA's response to 11 of them was “unacceptable.” One of these is that the FAA has yet to agree to mandate the installation of a critical safety system. On the 15th, Chairman of the National Transportation Safety Committee Homendi and some of the victims' families will once again urge the National Assembly to enact legislation to resolve the root causes of the problems revealed by the air crash.
