At the 19th Pujiang Innovation Forum “Future Pharmaceutical Innovation Forum”, Jiang Ge, deputy director of the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, said that Shanghai has the foundation and ambition to lead future pharmaceutical innovation. Currently, Shanghai has brought together diverse innovators such as national laboratories, universities, research institutes and enterprises, successfully developed more than 40 innovative models and platforms with independent intellectual property rights, initially formed a talent gathering platform, perfected an ecosystem of industry-university-research collaboration, and laid a solid foundation for future pharmaceutical innovation breakthroughs.
