Yidu Technology (02158) successively won bids for leading hospital projects, signed trade fairs to jointly build a joint laboratory, and medical AI implementation accelerated

The Zhitong Finance App learned that on September 14, Yidu Technology (02158) issued an announcement stating that the company's affiliate, Yiduyun (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. won the bid for the Aging and Health Innovation Transformation Construction Project of the National Geriatric Disease Clinical Medical Research Center at Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, with a total project amount of about 3.57 million yuan.

The National Geriatric Disease Clinical Research Center of Xiangya Hospital is a national scientific research platform. Yidu Technology won the bid this time, indicating that its technical capabilities in the field of medical AI data governance and clinical research services have once again been recognized by leading medical institutions. Compared to the project amount, the benchmarking significance of the cooperation platform is more prominent.

Winning the bid this time was not an isolated incident. Just a week ago, Yidu Technology announced that it won the bid for the Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital data platform localization adaptation upgrade project, which also cost about 3.57 million yuan. Continuous orders have been received in specialized fields such as respiratory diseases and geriatric diseases, as well as from regional data platforms, indicating that the company's medical AI solutions are entering the core medical scenario at an accelerated pace. Among them, the direction of “adaptation to localization” is in line with the current policy orientation of autonomous and controllable medical informatization, and is sustainable.

What is more noteworthy is the company's layout during the trade fair. On September 12, Yidu Technology and the Beijing Health Big Data and Policy Research Center signed a cooperation agreement to jointly establish a “Intelligent Clinical Research Joint Laboratory”. The cooperation focuses on three major directions: compliant utilization of health and medical data, drug clinical trials and medical research services, and complex talent training.

Unlike single project cooperation, the signing of this agreement means that Yidu Technology and public institutions belonging to the Beijing Municipal Health Commission have established collaborative relationships in production, learning, research, and teaching. The role extends from providing solutions to co-constructing industry standards and infrastructure. Compliance utilization of data governance effectiveness is a key bottleneck in large-scale implementation of medical AI, and in-depth exploration of this field helps the company accumulate a first-mover advantage. Xu Jiming, co-founder and CEO of the company, said at the time of signing the contract that the further development of medical AI must be based on high-quality data and withstand clinical and scientific research practice verification.

Judging from recent developments, Yidu Technology's business promotion shows three characteristics: winning bids spread from single point to multiple points, covering scenarios such as respiratory, geriatric diseases, and regional data platforms; the level of cooperation extended from hospital departments to the Health and Health Commission system, increasing policy coordination; and the main business line of “data governance+clinical research+compliance utilization” tends to be clear.
