Fresnillo CFO to Retire; Successor Named

12:07 PM EDT, 09/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Mario Arreguín will retire and step down from his role as chief financial officer of Fresnillo (FRES.L) in November. As part of its succession plan, the precious metals group named Rodrigo Sandoval as CFO designate, effective Sept. 21, according to a Monday release. Sandoval will be appointed to the company's executive committee and formally take over as CFO on Nov. 1 following a handover period. Arreguín, meanwhile, will then serve as a senior adviser to Fresnillo beginning Nov. 1, 2026, and remain with the company until the end of January 2027.
