According to Woofun AI, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei's appeal to slow down artificial intelligence development triggered a sell-off of AI-related assets around the world, yet the cryptocurrency market performed steadily against this background, showing a completely different trend from the traditional technology sector.

As of midnight Coordinated Universal Time, traditional financial markets were generally under pressure. Nasdaq 100 futures fell 1.65%, and S&P 500 futures fell 0.7%. On the commodities side, gold fell 0.8%, silver fell 1.7%, and the US Dollar Index (DXY) rose 0.5%. This widespread downward trend highlights the market's concerns about macro risks, in stark contrast to the independent market for crypto assets.

The sharp decline in the AI sector is at the heart of this turmoil. Nvidia (NVDA.US) (NVDA) fell 2.4% before the market, Intel (INTC.US) (INTC) fell 5.6%, Marvell Technology (MRVL.US) (MRVL) fell 6.3%, and the Korea Composite Index fell 3.26%.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia's closure of oil pipelines that bypass the Strait of Hormuz caused crude oil prices to rise by nearly 4%, and U.S. crude oil prices surpassed $100 for the first time since May. Data compiled by Woofun AI shows that despite drastic fluctuations in traditional markets, cryptocurrencies have not been affected by the tech industry's difficulties and AI development concerns.

Bitcoin (BTC) price rose 1.9% to $78,280, Ethereum (ETH) rose 2.1%, and Ripple (XRP) rose 3.3%. Of the individual stocks covered by the CoinDesk 100 Index, only 6 stocks fell, showing the strongest upward trend in two weeks. Previously, the shorting phenomenon drove Bitcoin's rise from $64,000 in August, and its price is still below this month's high of $82,284.

This performance shows that crypto assets are breaking away from the valuation logic of traditional technology stocks and establishing their own pricing system.
