In the first eight months of this year, Suzhou's foreign trade imports and exports reached 2.6 trillion yuan, an increase of 47.9% over the previous year, ranking first in the province and third among major foreign trade cities in the country. Among them, exports amounted to 1.53 trillion yuan, an increase of 38.2%; imports amounted to 1.07 trillion yuan, an increase of 64.3%.
