From July to August 2026, 124 new generative artificial intelligence services were registered with the China Internet Information Office, including 7 that provide generative artificial intelligence services on mobile phones. For generative artificial intelligence applications or functions that directly call the capabilities of the registered model through an API interface or other means, the local Internet Information Office initiated registration, and 133 new models were added to complete registration. As of August 31, a total of 1,112 generative artificial intelligence services have been registered, and 731 generative artificial intelligence applications or functions have been registered.
