The reporter learned today that the International Electrotechnical Commission recently issued the “Decentralized Multi-Energy Systems Part 1: General Provisions” international standard developed by China. The standard was prepared by experts from China as the convener of the working group and jointly prepared by experts from 10 countries including Switzerland, France, and South Korea. It is another landmark achievement in China's work to internationalize smart energy standards. Decentralized multi-energy systems refer to energy facilities distributed in communities, parks, factories, etc., so that various types of energy such as electricity, heat, cold, gas, and nuclear can be used efficiently and complementarily through integrated management, which can not only reduce system energy consumption, but also serve reliable green energy use for residents' lives, enterprise production and urban development, and effectively support the construction of new energy systems and green and low-carbon development. For the first time, the international standard systematically describes the definition and typical architecture of decentralized multi-energy systems, clarifies the future standardized development path in the field of multi-energy integration, and includes typical global engineering application cases to provide a unified reference for the construction of global integrated energy projects.
