The construction of the electricity spot market is entering a critical stage of accelerated implementation and maturity. The Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission recently issued a notice to solicit comments. It plans to lower the lower price limits for electricity energy declaration and clearance in the spot market from -0.08 yuan and -0.1 yuan per kilowatt-hour to -0.12 yuan and -0.14 yuan respectively; the upper price will not be adjusted and will continue to be implemented according to the 1.3 yuan and 1.5 yuan standards.
