Yidu Technology (02158) and Beijing Health Big Data and Policy Research Center jointly built an intelligent clinical research joint laboratory to empower clinical research model innovation with data intelligence

Zhitong Finance App learned that on September 12, during the 2026 China International Trade in Services Fair, Beijing Health Big Data and Policy Research Center (hereinafter referred to as “Big Data and Political Research Center”) formally signed a cooperation agreement with Yidu Technology (02158) to jointly build a joint laboratory for intelligent clinical research.

At the signing ceremony, under the joint witness of Deng Kai, Director of the Information Technology and Big Data Department of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission, and Xu Jiming, co-founder and CEO of Yidu Technology, Guo Moning, director of the Big Data and Political Research Center, and Li Jigang, senior vice president of the Medical Administration Division of Yidu Technology, completed the signing of the contract on behalf of the two parties.

As a public institution belonging to the Beijing Municipal Health Commission, the Big Data and Political Research Center has long been responsible for research on health big data management standards and technical standards, as well as big data platform construction, data resource aggregation and integration, statistical analysis and application support, etc., and has deep accumulation in Beijing's health data infrastructure, industry governance, and public service system.

Yidu Technology, on the other hand, has long been deeply involved in healthcare data management, AI technology research and industrial implementation. It has accumulated rich practical experience in enabling clinical diagnosis and treatment, medical research, clinical trials of pharmaceutical devices, real world research, etc., and has actively participated in the digital construction of healthcare in Beijing for many years. It has continued to be implemented in related work such as the National Health Information Platform and the National Artificial Intelligence Application Pilot Base (Healthcare). AI solutions have been deeply implemented in clinical, scientific research and management scenarios at many core medical institutions in Beijing.

The two sides complement each other's strengths, combining Beijing's health data foundation and industry governance experience with medical data intelligence and artificial intelligence application capabilities to jointly explore innovative models for intelligent clinical research.

As a collaborative innovation platform, the Joint Laboratory will explore the three key directions of research on the compliant utilization of health and medical data, drug clinical trials and medical research services, health care data, and artificial intelligence talent training through industry, academia, research, and teaching collaboration:

In terms of health and medical data compliance research, the laboratory focuses on the safe circulation and value release of health care data, carrying out research and practice on issues such as policy recommendations, clinical data desensitization and management, high-quality data set construction, standard data model construction, data labeling and quality control, data classification and classification, data analysis and application management, etc., and explores health and medical data development and application models that meet the actual needs of Beijing.

In terms of drug clinical trials and medical research services, the laboratory will focus on key aspects of clinical research and explore the enabling application of data intelligence in clinical research scenarios such as indication selection and value prediction, clinical trial plan feasibility analysis and optimization, recruitment of clinical research participants, intelligent quality control based on regional data, remote monitoring, and adverse reaction monitoring. At the same time, it promotes scientific research in medical schools and enterprises, and provides services such as data processing, data analysis, data modeling, specialized disease bank construction, and value evaluation for real-world research.

In terms of cultivating health and medical data and artificial intelligence talents, the laboratory will carry out training and capacity building in the fields of data governance, artificial intelligence applications, clinical research, etc., to promote exchanges and integration in the fields of medicine, data and artificial intelligence, and cultivate complex innovative talents.

Director Deng Kai expressed the hope that the two sides will give full play to their respective resources and capabilities, fully unleash technological potential, strengthen technological innovation and scenario empowerment, and focus on forward-looking exploration of standards, regulations, systems, and process system construction on the other. Currently, the biomedical industry in Beijing has a solid foundation, but there are still many practical problems that need to be solved urgently in the field of intelligent clinical research. We expect the laboratory to build on Beijing's practices, face up to industry pain points and blockages, and contribute to the development of Beijing's biomedical industry and intelligent innovation in global clinical research.

Director Guo Moning pointed out that the joint laboratory construction is a further deepening based on long-term collaboration between the two sides. Previously, the two sides had in-depth cooperation on health and medical data standards, data development and utilization, etc., and Yidu Technology's professional ability, innovation ability, and project execution capabilities demonstrated in past cooperative work left a deep impression on the Big Data and Political Research Center. In the future, the two sides will continue to make full use of their respective advantages, strengthen collaborative innovation, and promote the release of the value of health care data and the in-depth application of artificial intelligence technology in the healthcare field.

Mr. Xu Jiming said that the true deepening of medical artificial intelligence requires not only technological innovation, but also based on high-quality medical data, understanding real medical business, and withstanding clinical and scientific research practice verification. Yidu Technology will invest its long-accumulated medical data management, artificial intelligence application, and clinical research practice capabilities into joint laboratory construction, explore innovative models of intelligent clinical research with big data and political research centers and more medical institutions, scientific research institutions and industry partners, and promote the accumulation and promotion of experiences verified by real scenarios.
