Liaogang shares (02880): Jiao Guangjun resigns as independent non-executive director

According to Zhitong Finance App News, Liaogang Co., Ltd. (02880) issued an announcement and received a written resignation from Mr. Jiao Guangjun (Mr. Jiao), an independent non-executive director of the Company on September 11, 2026. Mr. Jiao requested the resignation of an independent non-executive director and chairman of the Board of Directors Nomination and Remuneration Committee due to the management requirements of his former employer regarding the external employment of retirees. Since Mr. Jiao's resignation will cause the number and proportion of independent non-executive directors on the board of directors to not meet the requirements of relevant laws and regulations and the company's articles of association, Mr. Jiao will continue to perform independent non-executive directors and their related duties in the special committee of the board of directors until a new independent non-executive director is appointed. His resignation will take effect from the date the shareholders' meeting elects the new independent non-executive director.
