The port's spokesman, Asad Altaf, said the freighter named “Al Marrouna” was carrying liquefied natural gas from Qatar's Ras Laffan, passed through the Strait of Hormuz on Monday and docked at Qassim Port in Karachi, the country's commercial center, on Thursday morning. This is the first shipment of liquefied natural gas from Qatar to Pakistan via the Strait of Hormuz since July.
