01:29 AM EDT, 09/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Morrow Bank (MORROW.ST) said Thursday it agreed to sell some non-core operations of its digital bank MedMera to an unnamed global credit investment firm. The deal, priced at a 90 million-krona premium to equity value, covers MedMera's information technology structure, organization, and management. The Nordic consumer finance bank will retain ownership of the digital bank's performing loans, deposits, customers, brand, and Coop partnership. Completion of the deal is expected before the end of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. Separately, Morrow Bank agreed to sell its Norwegian and Finnish non-performing loans, worth 1.5 billion kronor as of Aug. 31, to the same buyer.
