The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries released its monthly oil market report on the 10th, raised the 2027 global oil demand growth forecast for the fifth month in a row, and continued to lower the 2026 global oil demand growth forecast. The report predicts that the average daily global oil demand in 2027 will increase by 2.36 million barrels compared to 2026, reaching 108.1.9 million barrels. The increase will continue to rise compared to OPEC's August forecast of 2.16 million barrels. The report also predicts that the average daily global oil demand in 2026 will increase by 380,000 barrels compared to 2025, reaching 105.84 million barrels. The increase is lower than OPEC's August forecast of 580,000 barrels, mainly related to the adjustment of the 2025 oil demand data.
