The statement stressed that the Gaza Strip is an inalienable part of the Occupied Palestinian Territory and opposes any change in the population and territorial structure of Gaza. Malaysia strongly supports the Palestinian people in establishing an independent Palestinian State based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
