03:46 AM EDT, 09/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Gore Street Energy Storage Fund (GSF.L) said Thursday that the planned sale of its 22-megawatt operational asset in Cremzow, Germany, failed after a prospective buyer "significantly" changed its offer at a late stage. The London-listed energy storage fund said the deal had reached an advanced stage when the bidder sought to change the offer, which the board believed reflected a poor value for shareholders. The board attributed the disruption to the sale process to the uncertainty caused by the resolutions requisitioned by its shareholder, Saba. As such, the board extended the timeline for the planned disposal and instructed the sell-side adviser, Alexa Capital, to re-engage with other parties.
