China Automobile Association: Automobile production and sales completed 2.684 million units and 2,712 million vehicles in August, respectively, down 4.7% and 5.1% year-on-year, respectively

The Zhitong Finance App learned that on September 10, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers released data showing that in August of this year, China's automobile production and sales completed 2.684 million vehicles and 2,712 million vehicles respectively, up 4.3% and 4.9% from the previous month, respectively, and down 4.7% and 5.1%, respectively. Among them, production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 1.653 million units and 1.643 million units, respectively, up 18.9% and 17.8%, respectively. Sales of new energy vehicles reached 60.6% of total sales of new vehicles.
