On September 10, the “2026 Financial Institutions Annual Meeting” hosted by the Securities Times was held in Shenzhen. Zhu Jiang, deputy director of the Shenzhen Local Finance Administration, said in his speech that Shenzhen has set the goal of making every effort to build the most dynamic and efficient industrial finance center and technology finance center. He hoped that all institutions would continue to take root in Shenzhen, invest more resources, keep abreast of Shenzhen's “20+8” industrial cluster and modern industrial system, innovate product supply and optimize service models. He explained that on top of the 12.1% increase in value added last year, the growth rate of Shenzhen's financial industry reached 10.6% in the first half of this year, continuing to lead first-tier cities; as of September 9, Shenzhen added 29 new IPOs this year, with a financing scale of over 100 billion yuan, also leading the way among first-tier cities. Zhu Jiang expects financial institutions to closely integrate their own development with Shenzhen's strategy and share development opportunities.
