Yamato: Xiaomi Group-W (01810) rated “buy” as an important step in the widespread application of domestic semiconductor technology

The Zhitong Finance App learned that Daiwa released a research report saying that Xiaomi Group-W (01810) recently held a 2026 fall product conference to launch four new models in the SkyNomad (SkyNOMAD) series. The series is positioned as an “smart, variable space SUV” extended-range electric vehicle series. For the home, long distance and outdoor travel markets, the prices of the four models ranged from 209,900 to 299,900 yuan, and the lock order exceeded 10,000 vehicles within four minutes of launch. Yamato expects that the Pengcheng series will be different from the driver-focused SU7 and YU7 pure electric vehicle series. Yamato currently rates Xiaomi's investment as a “buy.”

Also, for the first time, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 18 Fold folding phone and the Xiaomi P9 Pro Max tablet equipped with the self-developed Xuanjing O3 chip. The 18 Fold is Xiaomi's highest-end flagship phone to date. It incorporates three self-developed technologies: the Xuanjing O3 chip, HyperOS 4, and the Xiaomi MiMO AI model. The price is 10,999 to 15,999 yuan, and will go on sale on September 10. The 18 Fold is also the first mass-produced flagship device using Changxin Technology (688825.SH)'s domestic LPDDR6 memory. Daiwa believes this is an important step in the widespread application of semiconductor technology made in China.
