The Zhitong Finance App learned that Clover Bio-B (02197) rose more than 9% in early trading. As of press release, it rose 7.62% to HK$2.26, with a turnover of HK$10,411,900.

According to the news, Clover Biotech announced on September 7 that positive preliminary data was obtained from the Phase II clinical trial of SCB-1022 (RSV+hMPV) and SCB-1033 (RSV+HMPV+pIV3) in the Australian elderly population aged 60-85. A total of 420 subjects were enrolled in the test. After 28 days of vaccination, the RSV neutralizing antibody increased by about 6-9 times, and the hMPV neutralizing antibody increased by about 6-8 times. There were no serious adverse events related to the vaccine; at the same time, the company completed a commercial scale production expansion of 2,000 liters.

Liang Guo, CEO of the company, said that “the positive results of the clinical trial significantly reduced the risk of later future development,” while also verifying the ability of the company's “differentiated Trimer-Tag platform” to develop multivalent protein respiratory vaccines.
